Synecco manufactured key molded components for a minimally invasive steerable sheath delivery system for a cardiovascular application, which required support from DFM through to production and component supply for a US multinational.
Synecco supported the client through manufacturing of plastics components for a steerable catheter, which required support from design phase, process development, through to production. This involved DFMEA, Materials selection, Tool moulding, Component moulding including two-shot, Tool validation and Component supply.
Synecco supported the client from concept through to transfer to production and component supply for this device. Synecco molded all the handle components including haemostasis/flushing. We also supplied silicone molding to support the haemostasis valve to our customer for post processing.
